Use + − × ÷ to reach the target number
NumRush is a free daily math puzzle game for the whole family — from 1st graders to adults. Every day a new set of numbers appears and you must use addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division to reach the target. It's inspired by classic countdown-style number games, updated for every age.
1st Grade mode (ages 5–7) uses simple addition and subtraction with small numbers, star-based scoring, and zero wrong-answer penalty — perfect for building early maths confidence. Elementary mode (ages 8–11) steps up the challenge with multiplication and slightly larger numbers. Classic mode is the full countdown experience. Percentages mode and Real-World mode apply maths to everyday situations like shopping, cooking, and budgeting.
NumRush is used by parents playing alongside their children, teachers looking for a quick classroom maths warm-up, and adults who want a daily mental arithmetic challenge. No download, no account, completely free — safe for children to use independently on any device.
Six numbers appear — some small, some large. A target number appears in the centre. Use any combination of the six numbers with +, −, ×, or ÷ to reach the target. You don't have to use all six. The game shows your running total as you build your equation, so you can adjust on the fly. Beat the target exactly for a bonus. There's no time pressure in 1st Grade mode — Classic mode adds a gentle countdown.
NumRush is used by parents and teachers to make daily mental arithmetic feel less like a chore. Children who play regularly develop a stronger intuition for numbers — knowing instinctively that "96 is close, I just need to add 4" or "if I multiply these two first, then subtract that one." The Real-World and Percentages modes are particularly useful for middle schoolers building practical maths skills.
